The Astronaut Farmer

If we don't have our dreams, we have nothing.

Bravo! This movie was excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect at first but it was a wonderful film with a great message, "Don't give up on your dreams." And, being the dreamer that I am, I found this film to be very rewarding.

It's just a neat story. Granted, it's a movie so it is far fetched, but the charm is there throughout. Comical, fun, endearing characters, and Biily Bob Thornton leading as the dreamer who won't give up, regardless of how crazy people might think he is.

Thornton shares the screen with other great talent, including Virginia Madsen (Sideways), Bruce Willis (you know him), Bruce Dern (holy crap he's been at this stuff since the 60's!), Jay Leno (as himself), Kiersten Warren (Desparate Housewives), and others you may recognize.

In all The Astronaut Farmer is an excellent adventure tale about a man with a dream, a family that stands behind him, and the courage to go for it no matter what anyone else says. We all have a little dreamer in us right? Enjoy the adventure!
